Role Overview
Open Futures is looking for exceptional graduates to join our Graduate Program, designed to develop the next generation of engineers, quantitative researchers, and technology leaders in High Frequency Trading (HFT).
This program is exclusively for students graduating from India’s premier IITs with outstanding academic achievements and exceptional problem-solving abilities. As a Campus Graduate, you will work on some of the most challenging engineering and quantitative problems in financial technology, collaborating with experienced Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Researchers, Traders, and Core Engineering teams.
From day one, you will contribute to building cutting-edge trading platforms, research infrastructure, low-latency systems, and quantitative technologies that directly power our trading business.
Program Tracks
Based on your skills and interests, you may be aligned to one of the following teams:
- Quantitative Research
- Quantitative Development
- Core Engineering (C++)
- Low-Latency Engineering
- Systems Engineering
What You’ll Work On
- Develop high-performance software using Modern C++ and Python.
- Build tools and infrastructure supporting quantitative research and systematic trading.
- Work on ultra-low latency systems and performance optimization.
- Develop scalable applications for research, backtesting, and production trading.
- Analyze large-scale datasets and solve complex computational problems.
- Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers and Traders to build innovative trading technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering design sessions.
- Learn software engineering best practices while working on production-grade systems.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech., Dual Degree, Integrated M.Tech., from top IITs only.
- Branches:
- Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Mathematics & Computing (M&C)
- Final-year students graduating this academic year.
- Excellent academic record throughout.
- Strong passion for technology, engineering, and problem-solving.
Technical Skills
Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in:
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Computer Networks
- Operating Systems
- Database Management Systems
- Probability & Mathematics
